This was a great shoot creating images for Laura and Alice. Laura was a natural in front of the camera. Alice was a bit camera shy at first but after a few shutter clicks, she was bitten by the bug of posing.
Just reminder to always listen to your clients and do your best to make them part of the process. I allow my clients to be themselves which allows me to capture real expressions.
Be on the look out for these young stars.

Filmed from 9th floor studio ..the current home of Scales Off Media
I was fascinated at how this little architect had only one goal to build a web. Nothing else mattered. Single focus and purpose. Was this a mere accident that this spider knows exactly how to build the web?
If that was the case, I am sure we would not have many spiders left. Chance plays no part in this wonder of life.
What do you think?
I only had my kit 17-55mm lense and my T3i with me at the time. I was just dropping by to pick something up and noticed the spider building away.
Had the opportunity to film a highlight wedding video for a great couple Vince and Sharlene. It was a cold november day but the sun was shining and excitement was high for this beautiful occasion, Enjoy!!!!!
Photoshoot in my studio located in the Historic Elgin Tower Building. Combination of natural light and strobes.
Your portfolio is a critical part of how you are presented…you are the brand. Invest in your brand!!!!
Your portfolio should be images that tell the viewer you are serious about your craft. If most of your images only showcase a specific part of your body. You probably need an upgrade of professional images.
During a photo walk on Sunday in downtown Chicago, I wanted to see how many people I could capture using their mobile device to capture the moment.
Have you ever considered that most of us including myself, often forget to breathe and take in this life. We can often get so caught up in trying to build something, we don’t enjoy whats right in front of us. Moments are something we can never have back….we can’t rewind and get first steps of a child or a tear rolling down grooms cheek as his bride appears from behind double doors towards the aisle. With all the access to devices to capture these events in life, you never really appreciate the sliver of life until a disaster occurs. The past is what shapes our present. Cherish your time now!!!
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” – UNKNOWN
